50 an hour Duties We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our team.
As a Hotel Houseman, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, and other designated areas of the hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms - Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as shampooing carpets and washing windows - Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department - Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner Skills To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills:
Custodial Skills:
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques - Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment safely Floor Care Skills:
- Experience with floor care techniques such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing - Knowledge of different floor types and appropriate cleaning methods Hotel Cleaning Skills:
- Familiarity with hotel cleaning standards and procedures - Attention to detail to ensure high cleanliness standards are maintained Industrial Cleaning Skills:
- Experience with industrial cleaning practices in a commercial setting - Ability to handle heavy-duty cleaning tasks Hospitality Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Housekeeping Management Skills:
